The Animal Control Officer (ACO) is appointed by the Board of Selectmen on an annual basis. ACO responsibilities include: dealing with complaints as related to domesticated animals dealing with stray domesticated animals serving a warrant on those dog owners who fail to register their animals Animal complaints must be made in writing in order for the ACO to pursue the issue. You may either use the comment form available at the Town Office, send an email to the Town Office, or send a letter to the town office. Our ACO does not hold office hours. You may contact the Town Office during regular business hours or leave a message on the ACO's voice mail if you have a problem.
