Animal Control Officer

The Animal Control position is filled through a contract with Penobscot County Unorganized Territories. The Animal Control Officer's responsibilities include:

• dealing with complaints as related to domesticated animals
• dealing with stray domesticated animals
• serving a warrant on those dog owners who fail to register their animals

Animal complaints may be made either to the Town Office or directly to the Animal Control Officer. You may either call or stop in at the Town Office, send an email message to the Town Office or contact Ann Greenlaw at 631-1780.

Our Animal Control Officer does not hold office hours. You may contact the Town Office during regular business hours or leave a message on the Animal Control Officer's voicemail if you have a problem.
