Highway Opening Permit

This permit is required of anyone intending to dig, excavate, tunnel, or in any manner break-up any Town roads. Applications are available from the Code Enforcement Officer and approved by the Road Commissioner. Permit fee will be determined based upon the size of the area of road disturbed. (A similar permit must be obtained from Maine DOT if work is proposed within the State's right of way.)
