Subsurface Wastewater Disposal Permit

This permit is required of anyone intending to install a private, wastewater disposal system including, but not limited to, new, replacement, expanded, experimental, or seasonal conversion systems. This permit is required for individually install components of said systems.

Applications and permits must be obtained from the Plumbing Inspector prior to the commencement of work and/or prior to the issuance of a building permit.

A viewable version of the application (HHE-200) is available on-line for reference. A multi-part form must be submitted. A permit fee is assessed.

Inspections required:

• Prior to system or components being placed in the bed
• Prior to system or components being buried or backfilled.
