Junk Yard/Auto Graveyard Permit

This permit is required of anyone intending to construct, maintain, or operate an open area where waste, used, or secondhand materials are bought, stored, baled, racked, disassembled, or handled - including, but not limited to, automobiles, scrap iron and other metals, paper, wood, and bottles. As defined, an automobile graveyard is a place occupied by three (3) or more un-registered, un-serviceable, discarded, or junked vehicles, vehicle bodies, engines, or parts thereof. Applications are available from the Code Enforcement Officer and a fee will be assessed.
